Italian light luxury: what makes it different

Our BAIGATTI and WIESENTHAL lines follow the Italian contemporary school: European hand-craftsmanship, fashion-led colour and material direction, adapted to Asian living dimensions —?a furniture culture built for clients who care about detail.

Italian light luxury reads trends first. New colours, new surfaces, new silhouettes appear in Milan and are absorbed into production within a season. It is equally comfortable borrowing: the calm of Chinese zen, the geometry of new-classical Windsor chairs, the hardware language of fashion houses.

Material is never a constraint. Stone, brass, glass, lacquer, technical fabrics, even paper —?the point is contrast within one palette, letting texture rather than colour carry the room.

Hand finishing is the real moat. Carving, upholstery stitching, metal inlay, veneer marquetry: the details that a machine cannot judge are still done by craftspeople. That is why a well-made piece reads as luxury from three metres away.
